I’m Roger Corrales a young sculptor born and raised in the Big Apple. Living in a city where art is embedded in the community, it was hard for me not to be inspired to test the waters. I was intrigued by murals and graffiti by artist like De La Vega and the Tats Cru. After experimenting in black books I quickly learned that wasn’t where my talent lied. As I started Lehman College, I quickly discovered I should be working in the third dimension.

Since I live in the largest sculpture park on Earth (NYC) it has naturally influenced my work as well. I have¬†acquired a taste for sculpture where I mix neoclassical forms with a little sense of humor and soon I’ll be experimenting with abstract forms of the human figure.

Welcome to my website and please follow the blog if you’d like to stay updated with my work and interests!
